 I saw a swan recently. It swam, but only with one leg. The other was tucked under its right wing.
One theory tells me something was wrong with the swan's temperature. Not covered by feathers, a swan's feet and legs are its air conditioning: they lose heat like a human's head, hand and feet; they soak up the sun like a lizard's back.
